The Chief Executive of one of the popular social media Twitter has supported Nigerians on the call for the ending of SARS. Jack Dorsey who didn’t only lend his voice in support of Nigerians but also calls for more donations for the movement.
On Wednesday night, Jack surprisingly used his Twitter account to call for more donations to fight against police brutality in Nigeria.
Many Nigerians have been on the streets across the nation to protest the brutality and injustice they have gone at the hands of SARS officials.
The massive and non-stop protest forced the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu to dissolve the SARS and few days later announced a new unit named SWAT.
The new unit SWAT didn’t go well with Nigerians as they claimed it is only change of name as personnel of SARS will continue to harass and extort Nigerian youths.
